The same record broken by Raiden Shogun had been set just over a month prior with the highly-anticipated release of Nahida. Last month saw the game once again set a record for Genshin Impact's highest-earning banner with the re-release of Raiden Shogun and Kamisato Ayato. The impending release of Honkai: Star Rail comes as HoYoverse has seen success with its other flagship title in Genshin Impact in recent months. HoYoverse is also offering rewards for follower milestones on Honkai: Star Rail's social media accounts. Future incentives for pre-registration include even more Star Rail Passes as well as a free four-star character when the game hits 3.5 million pre-registrations. Pre-registration for the game has already passed 1 million users with players earning both 50,000 Credits, the game's currency, alongside three "Star Rail Passes" for pulling in Star Rail's gacha. HoYoverse will be offering a wide array of rewards for players to achieve by hitting pre-registration milestones for Honkai: Star Rail. The developer has yet to confirm an official release date for Honkai: Star Rail, expected to launch sometime this year. Alongside the launch of pre-registration and Star Rail's final closed beta test, HoYoverse also released a new trailer for Honkai: Star Rail introducing another of the game's playable characters, Bail.
